-:Affirmations can be powerful tools for promoting positive habits and mindset, and what could be better during December?
-:This is a booze filled month, we don't have to have it that way for ourselves.
-:In the past I've used affirmations to help me get through December parties, carol concerts with mulled wine served at the
-:end, nights out with the girls and more.
-:Today, I'd like to share with you 20 affirmations to support you in enjoying a December without alcohol, and I've given you
-:a brief explanation as to why each might be beneficial.
-:I'm going to read an affirmation, give the reason, all the way through the 20 that I've got here.
-:Number 1, I am in control of my choices, and I choose joy over alcohol this December.
-:This affirmation is talking about personal agency and the pursuit of joy reinforces the idea that happiness doesn't require alcohol. Number 2.
-:My health and well-being are my top priorities this holiday season.
-:The reason is that focusing on overall well-being emphasizes the importance of making choices that contribute to long term health.
-:Number 3, I find joy in the company of loved ones, and alcohol is not necessary for celebration.
-:This reinforces the idea that genuine connection and celebration are possible without relying on alcohol. Number 4.
-:I savour the flavors of festive non alcoholic drinks and enjoy every moment.
-:This encourages the exploration of delicious or non alcoholic alternatives, making the whole experience more enjoyable. Number 5.
-:I am present in the moment and fully engage in holiday festivities without the need for alcohol.
-:This encourages mindfulness and being present, which can enhance the enjoyment of holiday activities.
-:Number 6, I celebrate the season with a clear mind, embracing the magic of the holidays.
-:This highlights the clarity of mind reinforcing the idea that one can fully experience the magic of the season without drinking. Number 7.
-:My happiness is not dependent on alcohol. It comes from within.
-:This shifts the focus from external substances to internal sources of happiness and contentment. Number 8.
-:I am grateful for the memories I create without the influence of alcohol.
-:This really encourages our gratitude for meaningful and authentic experiences, unclouded by the effects of alcohol. Number 9.
