-:It is October and what better time of year than for a sober month? Sober October.
-:I mean, it even rolls off the tongue this time of year.
-:Perhaps the summer has caught up with us a bit.
-:Perhaps we've settled into some of our new autumn routines and maybe we we have a moment to take a bit of a breath and decide
-:what we want next before the next holiday season is upon us.
-:Today I've got five tips for a fabulous sober October for you.
-:Number one, let's focus on autumn activities that don't revolve around alcohol.
-:Take a beat and think about what you really want this month.
-:Would you like to enjoy some family walks, some breakfast dates, some trips out to see the turning leaves, or perhaps hunker
-:down for some hot chocolate and movies together?
-:Number two, make sure you plan and take fancy alcohol free drinks to any harvest or Halloween parties that are coming up this month.
-:Just because people are serving alcohol it does not mean that you have to drink it.
-:And of course you can have a fabulous night out without it.
-:Make sure you go to your local supermarket and check out the now really nice alcohol free and low alcohol selections that are there on the shelves. Number three.
-:Use this period to get ahead on your wellness goals.
-:Do think to yourself, summer is over.
-:I'm just going to hunker down and slip into winter mode.
-:Of course you can eat well, you can move your body well, you can stay hydrated.
-:Number four, Focus on everything that you gain by not drinking.
-:The great sleep, no hangovers and feeling fresh every morning. Know oh this is number five. Sorry and the last one.
-:Know that many others are making this fabulous choice alongside you.
-:Sobriety really is a growing and joyful option.
-:You can find so many people out there who are now living a really exciting life and they just happen not to be drinkers. Isn't that fabulous? Thank you for listening in today.
